conserVegan suggests including these products and ingredients as part of your everyday kitchen inventory in order to make your vegan cooking experience more enjoyable.

Utensils and Products

  • Tofu Xpress
  • A heavy stainless steel or cast iron Grill Press (for burgers,  quesadillas, grilled cheese, filets…)
  • Stainless steel colanders, small hand held, and large with feet
  • Cast iron skillet / fry pans, small and large
  • Heavy bottom large high quality stainless steel skillet/fry pan
  • Lotus Foods electric Rice Cooker and Steamer (with stainless steel insert)
  • Krups convection toaster oven (This is one of those items that once you have it you wonder how you ever survived without it! Guaranteed to enhance your baking, broiling and toasting  experience exponentially!  I did a ton of research regarding product quality, interior size – it had the largest when I bought it and might still, value and reliability, and 4 years later I am still thrilled with my purchase.)
  • Breville Juicer – fairly price, awesome quality, easy to clean, easy to use


  • Organic dried spices and herbs (buy in small amounts since you should toss out unused amounts after about a year)
  • Canned and dried organic beans
  • Dried organic pastas
  • Various cans of organic tomatoes and tomato sauces
  • Organic rice, lentils and other grains
  • Organic Canola and Coconut oil (for high heat cooking –use certified organic canola oil only, which, for now, is not available in spray can form)
  • Organic first pressed olive oil (the darker the more flavor, for low heat cooking and salad dressing ingredient)


  • Organic seasonal fruit and veggies
  • Nutritional yeast (high in B12, B-Complex, protein and FLAVOR)
  • Wildwood firm tofu
  • Garlic Gold bits
  • Wildwood Aioli (for creamy salad dressing ingredient, sandwich spread, and dip ingredient)
  • Udo’s Oil (salad dressing ingredient that provides essential Omega Fatty Acids)
